GMG Racing was testing two of its cars at The Thermal Club this weekend. It was the debut test for Alec Udell in the new Porsche GT-Cup and he was joined by Brent Holden in his #44 Audi R8 LMS ultra.

The Californian based team is busy preparing for a four-car team in the Pirelli World Challenge, three Audi R8 LMS ultra entries and one Porsche GT-Cup. The team recently announced its plans which includes a GT Class entry for James Sofronas and his #14 Audi R8 LMS ultra, alongside two GTA Class entries for Brent Holden (#44 Audi) and Alex Welch (#76 Audi).

The entry list currently (as of 6 February 2015) includes five Audi R8 LMS ultra cars: Two cars from GMG Racing (Sofronas and Alex Welch) joined by single-car entries from CRP Racing, Cameron Racing amd JCR Motorsports.
