Silverstone International Cirucit played host to the fourth round of the 2015 British GT Championship. A single Audi R8 LMS ultra entered the event coming from Team Parker Racing.
An Audi regular team in the Blancpain Endurance Series, Team Parker Racing took part in the special Silverstonne 500, a 3-hour endurance race. The white and green #24 Audi R8 LMS ultra was driven by Ian Loggie and Callum Macleod.
The British Audi Sport customer racing team performed well in the qualifying session on Saturday. Ian Loggie and Callum Macleod made it inside the Top 10 and qualified in a strong eight place.
Unfortunately, bad luck hit Team Parker Racing on race day. The Audi started the race very well challenging British GT regulars with Ian Loggie behind the wheel. Few laps later, Ian Loggie first had a spin and then was forced to head to pitlane. Race over for the #24 Audi R8 LMS ultra.
The next race for Team Parker Racing and their Audi will be at Paul Ricard in Blancpain Endurance Series.
