Audi Sport Team Joest just won the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. The second round of the FIA World Endurance Championship saw the race debut of both the Audi R18 e-tron quattro and the Audi R18 ultra. A brilliant 1-2-3-4 for the Ingolstadt brand.
The #3 Audi R18 ultra crossed the finish line victorious. The TDI powered car in hands of Romain Dumas, Marc Gene and Loic Duval finished ahead of the three other Audi cars. The #1 Audi R18 e-tron quattro of Marcel Fassler, Andre Lotterer and Benoit Treluyer in second place, 46 seconds down to the winning car. In third the #4 R18 ultra of Marco Bonanomi and Oliver Jarvis. The second e-tron quattro landed in fourth, the #2 car of Allan McNish, Dindo Capello and Tom Kristensen.
A fantastic race for the Audi squad, this was the last race before the big Le Mans 24 Hours next month.
