Blancpain Endurance Series: Audi teams conclude second day of official testing at Paul Ricard

The annual Blancpain Endurance Series test days at Paul Ricard in France concluded on Thursday. Six Audi R8 LMS ultra entries took to the track for the final day of testing.

I.S.R. Racing and its #75 Audi R8 LMS ultra was again the highest ranked Audi team with the sixth fastest time. Team Parker Racing was the highest placed Audi for the majority of the day, with the #24 Audi R8 LMS ultra ultimately setting the eighth fastest lap. The Chinese backed #6 Audi R8 LMS ultra from Phoenix Racing was thirteenth.

The #2 Belgian Audi Club Team WRT Audi R8 LMS ultra was twenty-seventh, ahead of the #74 I.S.R. Racing Audi and #3 WRT Audi in thirty-second and thirty-third.

Audi Sport customer racing had run one brand new 2015 Audi R8 LMS at Paul Ricard on Wednesday, but the car did not take part on Thursday.

Many of the Blancpain Endurance Series teams will now be heading to the next set of test days for the Blancpain Sprint Series at Misano from 17-18 March. The BES opener will be at Monza from 11-12 April
