Performance Parts and Engineering (PPE) is proud to announce partnership with German aftermarket specialists Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket.

Schaeffler specialises in delivering quality automotive components designed to deliver extra performance and reliability for road and race cars alike.

Its LuK dual-mass flywheel (DMF) is a case in point. This solution effectively dampens engine vibrations, shielding the driveline components from premature wear and tear and aiding reliability.

This technology is featured on the PPE Schaeffler Audi TT RS which will compete in this weekend’s Bathurst 12 Hour epic. The PPE team will be able to check the LuK dual-mass flywheel’s functionality in-race, without removing any connecting parts, thanks to a specially-developed tool.

It is this functional ease, along with the DMF’s undoubted driveability and reliability benefits, that has led to over 100 million examples being sold since its 1985 introduction, as OE supplier for the BMW 525e.

The DMF is one of around 20,000 automotive parts that can be supplied by Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket via its three core brands: LuK for power transmission, INA for engine and transmission and FAG for chassis applications.
