ADAC GT Masters: Dupré Engineering Motorsport planning full-season Audi R8 LMS ultra campaign

By Johan Laubscher

Dupré Engineering Motorsport is busy preparing for a full-season campaign with their Audi R8 LMS ultra in the ADAC GT Masters.

The team acquired and debuted their Audi R8 LMS ultra during 2014. They competed in the 2014 DMV Touring Car Challenge with Christoph Dupré behind the wheel of the #89 Audi R8 LMS ultra. Later in the year there was also an one-off appearance in the ADAC GT Masters finale at Hockenheim, which saw Christoph Dupré being joined by co-driver Thomas Schöffler.

Dupré Engineering Motorsport is currently in discussions with possible 2015 drivers, but they have revealed that they plan to run a young rookie alongside a former DTM driver. They are also working on a possible second Audi R8 LMS ultra entry in the German series this year.

This team is an old faithful Audi team which has competed with Audi race cars for many years. They were seen with their Audi RS 5 quattro in the 2013 VLN Endurance Series and Nürburgring 24 Hours and also fielded Audi Coupe (CD Avenger) race cars in the ADAC GT Cup almost twenty years ago.
