Another new team has joined the Audi Sport customer racing family Down Under in Australia. Melbourne Performance Centre was out testing at Phillip Island on Monday. They were busy with their pre-Bathurst 12 Hour test running their Audi R8 LMS ultra entries, but it was also the first test for a new team with their Audi.
Wall Racing has acquired an Audi R8 LMS from Melbourne Performance Centre. The Wall Racing squad will be fielding the Audi R8 LMS for driver Greg Taylor in the Australian GT Championship during 2015. This car is one of the older Audi R8 LMS models and is eligible for the GT Trophy class.
The Australian GT Championship will be getting underway with round one at Adelaide (Clipsal 500) from 26 February to 1 March.
