By Johan Laubscher

The Shanghai based BOSS GP held its second and final round of the 2014 season at the Chinese Grand Prix circuit as a support event for the FIA World Endurance Championship.

A total of five Audis took part in round one of the series at the end of September. Absolute Racing fielded four Audi R8 LMS cars and one Audi R8 LMS ultra, achieving strong podium and top ten results.

Only one Audi was on the grid for the season finale this weekend, the #27 Audi R8 LMS of Zheng Ting. The car was run by Absolute Racing and competed under the team name of T&H Racing. Ting also competed with the #27 Audi R8 LMS in the Audi R8 LMS Cup races held at Shanghai this weekend and he also took part in round one of the BOSS GP in September.

He was able to perform well during qualifying and took second position on the grid, less than a second behind the pole sitting and eventual double race winning #91 Team JR / Asia Racing Team Porsche Porsche 911 GT3 R of Li Chao.

Zheng Ting was able to maintain his qualifying performance during the races and finished second by the end of both races one and two.
