The ADAC Bördesprint Cup held its season finale at Oschersleben this weekend. One Audi Sport customer racing team took part in the event.
Rotary Motorsport IG entered the #63 Audi R8 LMS ultra driven by Andreas Schmidt. The car is one of the ex-Prosperia C.ABT Racing cars that was seen in the ADAC GT Masters this year with the #12 car livery (pictured).
This is the same team that entered the silver and red Audi R8 LMS ultra that was driven by Berthold Gruhn in the 2014 Spezial Tourenwagen Trophy and selected rounds of the 2014 ADAC Bördesprint Cup.
Andreas Schmidt qualified third for the weekend’s first race. He suffered issues in race one and finished seventeenth, sixth in class. Unfortunately the #63 Audi R8 LMS ultra did not take part in race two.
