FIA WEC: Audi dominated Porsche and Toyota in FP2 at Silverstone

An impressive performance from Audi Sport Team Joest in the second free practice session today at Silverstone. The factory Audi R18 e-tron quattro cars were the fastest overall and dominated the competition.
The #1 Audi R18 e-tron quattro in the hands of Loic Duval, Tom Kristensen and Lucas di Grassi was the fastest outright with a best time of 1.43.134.
The sister #2 Audi R18 e-tron quattro shared by André Lotterer, Benoit Treluyer and Marcel Fassler was second fastest. The 2012 FIA WEC world champions were 0.4s behind their team-mates.
The #7 Toyota TS040 Hybrid from Toyota Racing was third driven by Wurz/Sarrazin/Nakajima. Fourth was the #20 Porsche 919 Hybrid with drivers Webber/Bernhard/Hartley.
Fifth the #8 Toyota of Lapierre/Davidson/Buemi, sixth the #12 Lola Coupe from Rebellion Racing with drivers Prost/Beche/Heidfeld and seventh the #14 Porsche of Dumas/Lieb/Jani.

Action will resume tomorrow at Silverstone with a third free practice session followed by qualifying.
