Swedish GT: JB Motorsport remains unbeaten in 2013 at Knutstorp

By Johan Laubscher

JB Motorsport and Jan Brunstedt have been unbeaten in the 2013 Swedish GT Championship so far this year, and they continued their winning streak at Knutstorp this weekend.

Brunstedt has already been crowned as the 2013 Swedish GT driver's champion and now the team is focussing on achieving second place in the driver’s standings with his teammate, Christer Lindholm. The #4 JB Motorsport Audi R8 LMS was driven by Brunstedt at every round this year, but he was also joined in victory by Christer Lindholm on a number of occasions. Lindholm is in the fight for second place in the championship, despite him not having taken part in all of the rounds.

The Swedish GT Championship was at Knutstorp this weekend, the fifth and penultimate meeting of the season. The JB Motorsport Audi R8 LMS was again placed on pole position for the race. They backed up the pole by taking yet another race victory, remaining unbeaten with six victories this year.

Another great result for the JB Motorsport team, with Jan Brunstedt as champion and Christer Lindholm ever closer to clinching second place in the championship.

The final round of the 2013 Swedish GT Championship will be taking place at Mantorp Park in two weeks time.
