Toyota dominated the first free practice session at Interlagos today. In the second session it was Audi's turn to take control and lead the field. A fine1-2 for Audi Sport Team Joest with the factory Audi R18 e-tron quattro cars.
The #2 Audi of Allan McNish, Loic Duval and Tom Kristensen was the fastest in the session. The recent winners of the Le Mans 24 Hours set a fastest time of 1:21.904. Their teammates André Lotterer, Benoit Tréluyer and Marcel Fassler were right behind them in second place. Third was the lone factory #8 Toyota TS030 Hybrid driven by Anthony Davidson, Sébastien Buemi and Stéphane Sarrazin. Fourth was the only privateer LMP1 in the field, the #12 Lola Coupe Toyota from Rebellion Racing driven by Nicolas Prost, Nick Heidfeld and Mathias Beche.
