The 2012 Le Mans 24 Hours is almost upon us. The annual 365 days of
waiting is less than three days away from finishing. Three pm Saturday will see the
green flag for the eightieth running of the great race with four Audis on the grid hunting for the marque's eleventh overall victory. The excitement is
clearly building, social media is busy lighting up like a Christmas tree with
Le Mans as the key topic.
2011 was an amazing race with only 13,854 seconds separating the race victory.
After the event Audi produced an amazing short video which documented the epic
race. Entitled “13,854 Seconds - A dramatic 24 Hours of Le Mans” it was a
brilliant production and the film went on to win many awards.
With less than three days to go until Le Mans it seems fitting to
revisit this specific Audi video. The video caused a stir last year and is well
worth watching again, and again. The gripping emotion filled 2011 race was a classic
