The British Touring Car Championship is moving to the beautiful Oulton Park circuit this weekend. Rob Austin Racing will take part in the fourth round of the season with their two Audi A4 NGTC cars.
Rob Austin Racing drivers had a frustrating weekend at Thruxton last time out. Team owner Rob Austin and his team-mate Hunter Abbott want to bounce back and fight for the top spots against very strong rivals.
In 2014 Rob Austin performed well at Oulton Park was a able to clinch a great podium with his Audi A4 NGTC. Behind the wheel of Sherman, he will battle to achieve other great results.
"Last year we had three top five finishes including a podium at Oulton Park and whilst we are on a different circuit layout this year I still believe we will have a strong car."
"I need some strong points finishes from Oulton and then I believe we can fight potentially fight for victory at Croft."
Hunter Abbott too is looking forward to a strong weekend at Oulton Park.
"The Exocet AlcoSense Audi has traditionally been strong at Oulton Park. Sherman and Panzer are capable front runners at Oulton and I love the circuit’s old school quirks and ballsy corners – I’m looking forward to getting back there."
BTCC action at Oulton Park will start on Saturday with two practice session and qualifying. The three races will be held on Sunday.
