The opening round of the Pan Delta Super Racing Festival took place at Zhuhai this weekend. The Audi R8 LMS Cup was also one of the series featured at the event, along with the Circuit Hero categories.
D2 Racing Sport from Taiwan entered two GT3 specification race cars in the Circuit Hero One category races, both in the Open B class. The team entered its Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 and the #75 Audi R8 LMS. C.J. Huang was behind the wheel of his Audi R8 LMS which he debuted with D2 Racing Sport in Taiwan last year.
Race one on Saturday concluded with the Audi R8 LMS crossing the line in second place in class after fifteen laps of racing, finishing fourth overall. The final race was over ten laps held on Sunday and C.J. Huang finished third in the Open B class, also taking third overall. D2 Racing Sport won both races with the #31 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3.
