Round four of the new FIA World Endurance Championship was hosted at
Silverstone. The weekend witnessed a great battle between the Audi and Toyota
teams. The race ended with Audi taking the victory ahead of the Toyota, as the superior
fuel efficiency of the Audi ensured the win. Along with the Silverstone victory
Audi also claimed the FIA WEC manufactures title, a very successful weekend for
Audi Sport Team Joest.
