The Audi R18 e-tron quattro is the first Hybrid LMP1 racer from Audi Sport. The new car will compete in the 2012 Le Mans 24 Hours and the FIA World Endurance Championship. The car dominated the Le Mans test day with a 1-2 last weekend. Here is Allan McNish showing you the differences between the new 2012 car and the 2011 Le Mans winning Audi R18 TDI. Visually they look similar, however the R18 e-tron quattro is a completely new car with the innovative hybrid system, it is far more than just a simple evolution of last year’s racer.
