The American
DragonSpeed Team with Elton Julian recently became the recepiants of the first
Audi R8 LMS ultra in North America. Speculation soon started as to where the
car would compete with many rumours circulating. A few weeks have passed and
official word from the team has arrived. The team hasconducted a successful shakedown
of the car at Palm Beach International Raceway. The car is still in its bare
silver livery with DragonSpeed logos.
The team has
confirmed its entry for the 2013 Dubai 24 Hours and have mentioned the
possibility of the 2013 Bathurst 12 Hours and the Nürburgring 24 Hours as well. The team is
looking into the possibility of the SCCA World Challenge and the ALMS in GTC.
American
Audi fans are very excited as the number of American based Audi R8 race machinery
is continuing to increase.
