DTM: Jamie Green best Audi driver in Zandvoort first qualifying session

As was the case in the second practice session, Jamies Green (Audi Sport Team Rosberg) was the fastest Audi driver in the first qualifying session at Zandvoort.

The Briton was sixth fastest behind the wheel of the #53 Audi RS 5 DTM. The DTM points set a personal best of 1:31.627.

Miguel Molina (Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline) was the only other Audi driver inside the top-ten. The Spanish racer was tenth fastest with the #17 Audi RS 5 DTM.


Adrien Tambay (Audi Sport Team Abt) was eleventh. Edoardo Mortara (Audi Sport Team Abt) was twelfth. Mike Rockenfeller (Audi Sport Team Phoenix) was thirteenth. Nico Mueller (Audi Sport Team Rosberg) was sixteenth. Mattias Ekstrom (Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline) was ninteenth. Timo Scheider (Audi Sport Team Phoenix) was twenty-first.

Up ahead it was an all BMW affair, four BMW M4 DTMs locked the top-four positions. Pole position went to Augusto Farfus ahead of team-mates Marco Wittmann in second, Antonio Felix da Costa in third and Maxime Martin in fourth.

The first race is coming up next, a 40-minute event.
