The Audi teams and drivers were back on track on Wednesday at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, day two of the official DTM tests.

Following a mixed opening day on Tuesday, the Audi squad bounced back well in the two sessions of the day. No less than 581 laps were covered by the five Audi factory drivers who took part in today's tests.

Mattias Ekström was third fastest combining the two sessions. The Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline set a personal best time of 1:20.531. The double DTM champion was delighted.

“We basically had a great test. The conditions were good and we tried a lot of different things. Fine-tuning is the name of the game in the DTM at the moment. At the end of the day, I’m happy: It was great fun and I’m going home with a good feeling.”

Jaime Green (Audi Sport Team Rosberg) was eighth fastest. Timo Scheider (Audi Sport Team Phoenix) was ninth. Edoardo Mortata (Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline) was eleventh. 2013 DTM champion Mike Rockenfeller was thirteenth fastest.
