The VLN Endurance Series held its annual test day at the Nürburgring Nordschleife on
Saturday this weekend. Many of the VLN teams took part including a number of
Audi teams.
Highlighting the Audi participation was an entry from Audi Sport customer racing. A brand new 2015 Audi R8 LMS was among the cars taking part at the Green Hell. It was the new car’s first public test appearance at the Nürburgring. Frank Stippler and Markus Winkelhock piloted the white #1 Audi R8 LMS. The new car will have its race debut at the opening round of the VLN later this month.

A new Audi R8 LMS was also seen testing at Paul Ricard earlier this
week, when one white Audi R8 LMS took part in the annual SRO Balance of Performance
tests and the Blancpain Endurance Series test days.
Many other Audi teams also took part in the VLN test day, including Audi race experience run by TKL Motorsport with its two Audi R8 LMS ultra cars, Møller Bil Motorsport, S.Pace Racing and other Audi TT RS teams.

The VLN Endurance Series will be getting underway with round one at the
Nürburgring on 28 March.
