Rallycross Challenge Europe Press Release
In 3 months’ time, the 3rd season of Rallycross Challenge Europe starts. In the meantime, the calendar has become official and we can announce that this season of Rallycross Challenge Europe will consist of 7 races in 7 different countries.
This includes a race at the new rallycross circuit ‘Sport Club Maggiore’ in Italy! Besides a season with 7 different European races, this year also sees the introduction of a new class to the RCE: the Supertouringcars.
In addition to the well-known circuits of last year, such as Circuit des Ducs (FR), Autodrom Sosnova (CZ), Vilkyciai Race Complex (LT) and the Eurocircuit (NL), this years calendar features no fewer than three new circuits.
The first newcomer is the Duivelsbergcircuit in Maasmechelen (BE). After their absence in the RCE last year 'Devilspeak' will host another exciting round of rallycross action in August. The second newcomer is again a familiar circuit for the RCE: the Wachauring in Melk (AT). As host of the first ever RCE round in 2013 the circuit is more than ready for some spectacular rallycross in August. The third newcomer is completely new to the RCE: the Sport Club Maggiora in Maggiora (IT). This Italian former Autocross circuit is relatively new to the world of rallycross. The organizers are delighted to host the extra challenging final round of the 2015 season in October.
Contrary to the provisional calendar, the Circuit Kerlabo (FR) has not been included in Rallycross Challenge Europe this season.
