The North American 2015 sportscar season will kick off this weekend at Daytona International Speedway. The famous Florida circuit will be hosting the annual Roar Before the Rolex 24. Three days of testing leading to the prestigious 24-hour race, the stellar event of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship.
The Audi squad will be represented by two Audi R8 LMS cars coming from two different teams. Both cars will compete within the GT Daytona class (GTD).
The first car came from Flying Lizard Motorsports. The California based team recently announced their line-up for the #45 Audi R8 LMS. The car will be in the hands of Markus Winkelhock, Robert Thorne, Satoshi Hoshino andTomonobu Fujii.
The second Audi entry is from Paul Miller Racing. Their #48 R8 LMS car will be driven by Christopher Haase, Bryce Miller, Dion von Moltke and René Rast. Paul Miller Racing is the only confirmed team for the full TUDOR United SportsCar Championship season so far.
The two Audi Sport customer racing teams will face very strong rivals representing Aston Martin, BMW, Dodge, Ferrari and Porsche.

Action will start on Friday with two sessions. Four more sessions will be held on Saturday. The final two sessions are set for Sunday. We will keep you informed about Audi teams performances all weekend long.
