After two sunny days at Daytona, weather conditions have changed for TUDOR United SportsCar Championship teams and drivers. The Audi teams faced a very wet track in the final day of Roar Before the Rolex 24 official tests.
At the Audi camp, only Flying Lizard Motorsports took part in the seventh practice session. The #45 Audi R8 LMS driven by Markus Winkelhock, Tomonobu Fujii, Satoshi Hoshino and Robert Thorne was eleventh fastest within the GT Daytona class. 2:06.317 was the best time set by the California based squad.
With weather conditions not improving both Flying Lizard Motorsports and Paul Miller Racing decided to skip the eighth and final practice session of the weekend.

Flying Lizard Motorsports and Paul Miller Racing will have a two-week break before heading back to Daytona. The famous international speedway will play host to TUDOR United SportsCar Championship round 1, the prestigious Rolex 24 at Daytona.
