A very sad news coming from Rotek Racing and British Touring Car Championship. The Audi S3 Sedan will not enter the season finale at Brands Hatch.
The car was heavily damaged last time out at Silverstone, after a contact between Robb Holland and United Autosports' James Cole and his Toyota Avensis. Unfortunately, the Oakley backed Audi S3 could not be repaired in time for this weekend last round.
It was planned that Tony Gilham will replace team-owner and driver Robb Holland at Brands Hatch. A real shame for a team and car debuting in the demanding BTCC with some promising performances in the closing stages of the season.
This means only Rob Austin Racing will represent the Audi brand with a pair of A4 NGTC cars.
