Blancpain Sprint Series: Third place for René Rast and Enzo Ide in Algarve qualifying race

The very beautiful and demanding Algarve Circuit in Portugal played host to a thrilling Blancpain Sprint Series qualifying race. The Audi brand took a fine podium with René Rast and Enzo Ide and two cars within the Top 5.
René Rast and Enzo Ide who shared the #2 Audi R8 LMS ultra from Belgian Audi Club were among the fastest on track in the 1-hour sprint race. The two Audi drivers were behind the winning Lamborghini Gallardo FL2 (Grasser Racing) driven by Jeroen Bleekemolen and Hari Proczyk and the #84 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 (HTP Motorsport) of Maximilian Buhk and Maximilian Götz.
Fourth place went to another Audi R8 LMS ultra from Belgian Audi Club Team WRT. The car was in the hands of Laurens Vanthoor and Cesar Ramos.
Mateusz Lisowski and Vincent Abril took a fine victory in the Silver-Cup with their #4 Audi R8 LMS ultra from Belgian Audi Club Team WRT. The two youngsters were seventh overall.
Pro-Am victory went to Phoenix Racing Audi drivers Alessandro Latif and Marc Basseng with #5 R8 LMS ultra and finshed in eleventh place overall.
