ADAC GT Masters: Disappointing qualifying for Audi teams at Slovakia Ring

The ADAC GT Masters is moving to Slovakia this weekend. A total of five Audi R8 LMS ultra are taking part in the event.

Earlier today the Audi teams struggled in the two free practice sessions. Later in the two qualifying sessions the R8 LMS ultras were not able to fight for the top spots.

In the first qualifying session the best ranked Audi R8 LMS ultra was the #16 entry from YACO Racing. Rahel Frey and Philip Geipel qualified in ninth place. All other four Audis were outside the top 10. Series leaders René Rast and Kelvin van der Linde qualified in thirteenth place with their #10 Audi from Prosperia C.Abt Racing.

The second qualifying session the Audis improved with two cars inside the Top 10. The #10 car of René Rast and Kelvin van der Linde was sixth fastest. Rahel Frey and  Philip Geipel were again fast ending in tenth place with the #16 R8 LMS ultra.
