The 2014 Nürburgring 24 Hours endurance race is underway at the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife. And already many crashed and incidents in the opening hours of the race.
One of the biggest facts was the severe crash of the #3 Audi R8 LMS ultra from Phoenix Racing. The car driven by Audi GT factoy driver Marc Basseng was forced to retire after severe contact with the barriers. Luckily Marc Basseng is OK, he was sharing the car with Laurens Vanthoor, Marcel Fassler and Frank Stippler.
