Le Mans 24 Hours: Fourth, sixth and seventh for Audi in the second qualifying session

Action resumed today at the Circuit de La Sarthe with the second qualifying session just over. As was the case the session was highlighted by multiple crashes and a red flags
The #1 Audi R18 e-tron quattro made it in time and took part in the session. Unfortunately the car had a new crash. Lucas di Grassi driving the car lost control of the Audi LMP1 machine and Indianapolis and was forced to head back to pitlane.
The #7 Toyota TS040 Hybrid set the fastest time in the session with a 3:22.589. Second and third for two factory Porsche 919 Hybrid cars.
Best of the Audis was the #3 R18 e-tron quattro in fourth place. Filipe Albuquerque, Marco Bonanomi and Oliver Jarvis with a best time of 3:26.614.
The #2 Audi R18 e-tron quattro was sixth fastest. The car in the hands of André Lotterer, Benoit Tréluyer and Marcel Fassler with a best time of 3:26.268
The #1 Audi R18 e-tron quattro set the seventh fastest time before crashing. The car shared by Lucas di Grassi, Tom Kristensen and Marc Gené with a best time of 3:27.809.
The third and final qualifying session will come next at 22:00 local time. The last chance for the three prototype teams to secure pole position.
