Le Mans 24 Hours: Audi lead the first session in Le Mans test day

Action has started at the Le Mans 24 Hours Test Day with the first of the two 4-hour session done.

So far so good for Audi Sport Team Joest at the Circuit de La Sarthe. The #3 Audi R18 e-tron quattro was the fastest in the session. The car shared by Marco Bonanomi and Filipe Albuquerque set the fastest time of 3.23.799. Toyota ended the session in second place with #8 TS040. Third place for #20 Porsche 919 ahead of #7 Toyota TS040 in fourth place

The #2 Audi R18 e-tron quattro driven by André Lotterer, Benoit Tréluyer and Marcel Fassler finished in fifth position with a best time of 3:27.449 . The #1 Audi R18 e-tron quattro in the hands of Loic Duval, Lucas di Grassi and Tom Kristensen was sixth with a best time of 3:27.517. The second Porsche entry #14 919 was seventh. The two Rebellion Racing cars were in eighth and ninth places with their R-One Toyotas, the only cars in the LMP1-L division.

The teams and drivers will have an hour break before hitting the track again at 14:00 for a second 4-hour session.
