Action has started at Oschersleben and the Audi squad is already performing very well. The Audi RS 5 DTM was simply the best car in the field in the practice session.
Fastest time in the session and four Audi drivers within the Top 5 representing all three factory Audi teams.
Miguel Molina with his Audi RS 5 DTM was the fastest in the session. The Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline driver set a fastest time of 1:20.324.
Jamie Green (Audi Sport Team Rosberg) with third, only 0.420s behind Molina's time. Fourth was the 2013 DTM champion Mike Rockenfeller (Audi Sport Team Phoenix).
Two other Audi drivers made performed very well. Edoardo Mortata (Audi Sport Team Abt) was fifth right ahead of Timo Scheider (Audi Sport Team Phoenix) in sixth.
Adrien Tambay (Audi Sport Team Abt) was twelfth. Nico Müller (Audi Sport Team Rosber) was thirteenth and Mattias Ekström (Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline) was sixteenth.

The Audi teams and drivers will focus now on the qualifying session with a target taking a second straight DTM pole position.
