Audi Sport Italia set to field RS 5 quattro pairing at Monza Euro V8 Series opener on April 6

In spite of an eventful winter, Europe will not miss V8 touring car this year, as brand-new EuroV8 Series is to kick off in Monza on April 6 with a paddock full of tents and teams pretty familiar to fans of now-shelved Superstars Series. 

As far as Audi Sport Italia is concerned the team RS 5 quattros that sweeped available titles back in 2013 joins the new championship with legitimate ambitions to be ranked among the V8 élite. Emilio Radaelli's outfit will be fielding a two-car line-up at the 2014 opener on April 6. Czech Republic's Tomas Kostka and Bergamo, Italy's Davide Stancheris will be driving for Audi Sport Italia at Monza.
