FIA WEC: Dailysportscar interview with Audi factory driver Oliver Jarvis

By Tarek Ramchani

Oliver Jarvis has been loyal to Audi Sport for many years now. The British Audi factory driver has been racing for the Four Rings since 2008, first in DTM then later in sportscars and GT.

Oliver Jarvis joined the full factory Audi LMP1 program in 2012. In 2013 Olly won the 12 Hours of Sebring overall with an Audi R18 e-tron quattro, as well as the Rolex 24 at Daytona GT class with an Audi R8 GRAND-AM.

This year Oliver Jarvis will have a busy season season. He will again be driving with Audi and the R18 e-tron quattro. He will be competing at both the 6 Hours of Spa (Round 2 of the FIA WEC) and the Le Mans 24 Hours (Round 3). He will also be competing with Lexus in the Japanese Super GT. Jarvis will drive a factory supported Lexus RC-F from Team SARD in the GT500 class.

Dailysportcar recently caught up with Oliver Jarvis and had this very interesting interview with the Audi ace. He talks about Le Mans and the new Audi R18 e-tron quattro, his debut in Super GT and how different GT500 cars are compared to DTM cars and the cars from Audi Sport customer racing.
