The Blancpain GT Series teams will have a two-day test at the Paul Ricard, March 11th and 12th. Audi Sport customer racing will be very well represented in Southern France.
Six Audi R8 LMS ultra cars will take part in the event. Belgian Audi Club Team WRT will have two Audi R8 LMS ultra cars. The Germans from Phoenix Racing will enter Audis. Sainteloc Racing from France will have a single Audi at the HTTT. The sixth Audi R8 LMS ultra car is under Audi Sport customer racing by WRT banner.
47 GT3 cars will enter the Paul Ricard tests with teams representing twelve different brands: Audi, Bentley, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, Porsche, McLaren, Lamborghini, Nissan, Aston Martin, Chevrolet and Jaguar.
The new Blancpain GT Series is a combination of the Blancpain Endurance Series and the Blancpain Sprint Series, for teams who are able to commit to both individual series.
The first event will be at Monza, round 1 of the Blancpain Endurance Series, April 13th.
