Audi Sport Italia will enter the 2014 Italian GT Championship with two Audi R8 LMS ultra cars. This will mark the sixth straight year for the official Audi Italia dealer team in the Campionato Italian Gran Turismo.
Team principal Emilio Radaelli announced that his team will take part in the full season and will target the title. The drivers line-ups will be announced later, however Mr Radaelli mentioned that he is trying to bring a new youngster with a target to promote him as a factory driver like they did in the past with Filipe Albuquerque and Marco Bonanomi.
It is also expected to see Dindo Capello back with the team. The Italian Audi legend has always been involved with Audi Sport Italia's efforts in Italian GT Championship since 2009.
The 2014 Italian GT Championship season will kick off at Misano, May 11th.
