The German DTM is at Oschersleben for round eight this weekend. Saturday
got off to a good start for the Audi teams during the free practice session.
A total of six Audi RS 5 DTM cars made it into the top ten this morning. The leading Audi was that of championship leader, Mike Rockenfeller (Audi Sport Team Phoenix), who topped the session. He was followed by Timo Scheider (Audi Sport Team Abt) in third, Adrien Tambay (Audi Sport Team Abt) in fourth, Filipe Albuquerque (Audi Sport Team Rosberg) in fifth, Edoardo Mortara (Audi Sport Team Rosberg) in seventh and rounding out the top ten was Jamie Green (Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline) in tenth.
The Audi runners outside of the top ten were Mattias Ekström (Audi Sport Team Abt Sportsline) in sixteenth and Miguel Molina (Audi Sport Team Phoenix) in eighteenth.
Qualifying will take place later this afternoon, followed by the race
tomorrow. We wish the best of luck to the Audi teams and drivers.
