The Belgian Racing Car Championship headed to Spa-Francorchamps this
weekend, for the 600 km of Spa, round five of the season.
PK Carsport was entered with their #7 Audi R8 LMS, with drivers Anthony
Kumpen, Bert Longin and Maarten Makelberge. Coming into this penultimate BRCC
round the PK Carport drivers were still involved in the championship title
fight.
During qualifying they qualified in third place, behind the two GPR Aston Martins.
The PK Carsport squad were running at the front during the race, fighting against the GPR cars. By the end of the 600 km race the PK Carsport Audi R8 LMS crossed the finish in third place, behind the #9 GPR Aston Martin and the race winning sister #100 GPR Aston Martin.
