The Slovakia Ring hosted the Slovak Republic Grand Prix (Veľká cena Slovenskej republiky - VCSR) this past weekend. A 2013 Audi R8 LMS ultra made an appearance at the event.
There was one Audi entered this year, the YACO Racing Audi R8 LMS ultra, driven by local driver Filip Sladecka. The Audi was entered in the main GT division, class D4 +2000cc. He qualified second for race one and fourth for race two, within a strong GT class field.
Sladecka took part in the two sprint races. He unfortunately retired from race one and finished sixth during race two. The VCSR is one of the most popular motorsport events in Slovakia.
The YACO Racing Audi R8 LMS ultra was seen running the original 2013 rear diffuser during the weekend, but they also used the older rear diffuser, as per the 2013 Audi R8 LMS ultra FIA homologation.
