The DTM is in new territory this weekend, hosting their first ever event in Russia - round six of the 2013 DTM season at Moscow Raceway.
The Audi teams have once again shown good form during the Saturday morning Free Practice session, with a total of six Audi RS 5 DTM cars represented in the top ten. The session was lead by Bruno Spengler in his BMW M3 DTM. Behind him was a string of Audi cars placing in positions second through to seventh.
The Audi squad was lead by Mattias Ekström (Audi Sport Team ABT Sportsline), ahead of Filipe Albuquerque (Audi Sport Team Rosberg), Miguel Molina (Audi Sport Team Phoenix), Edoardo Mortara (Audi Sport Team Rosberg), Mike Rockenfeller (Audi Sport Team Phoenix) and then Timo Scheider (Audi Sport Team ABT). The only Audis not within the top ten was Adrien Tambay (Audi Sport Team ABT) in eleventh and Jamie Green in twelfth (Audi Sport Team ABT Sportsline).
The qualifying session will be held later today ahead of the race tomorrow. We wish the Audi teams the best of luck to continue their good form from the Norisring last time out.
