During July the German DTM series had a non championship event at Munich Olympic Stadium. There were no points to fight for at the event, but everybody was cool and relaxed in these Race of Champions style shoutouts. Here is an interesting photo featuring two of the three elite German brands of the series: Audi with the A5 DTM of Rahel Frey (above) and BMW with the M3 DTM of Dirk Werner (below). The two cars were close to each other, ready to go for a duel battle on the temporary track. The photo clearly shows how DTM cars are highly sophisticated and among the best in world of motorsport in terms of aerodynamics.
