A few
weeks ago Audi set a new lap record at the Nürburgring. The red Audi R8 e-tron
became the production electric car lap record holder around the green hell. The
most notable fact from the record run was the silence of the car heading around
the race circuit. Today Audi released an onboard video from the record breaking
run. Even more so in this video the eerie silence is present as the electric
motors power the R8 e-tron around the circuit for its 8
minute and 9.099 second run.
