Ingolstadt/Le Mans, June 17, 2012 – Midnight at Le Mans. The ninth hour of racing was another quiet one for the three Audi R18 sportscars of Audi Sport Team Joest still leading the field.

The #1 Audi R18 e-tron quattro driven by André Lotterer led the Audi squad into the new day. He was followed by Allan McNish in the sister car and the #4 Audi R18 ultra, both a lap down. Loïc Duval continued his recovery with the #3 Audi R18 ultra and defended sixth position.

There was something to celebrate in the Audi Sport Team Joest pit garage: Dindo Capello celebrates his 48th birthday today.
